Biomedical Engineer
To be familiar with Diesel engine, Generator and fully conversant with their assembly/disassembly and fault finding.
Be proficient in the use of all components, equipment, tools and techniques used in a Mechanical/Hydraulic/Electrical workshop.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance
Perform equipment installations, testing, and modifications.
Technical school graduate in Bio-Medical and/or Electronics & Communication Engineering required.
Five years training in various Medical/Laboratory/Electronics including overhauling & calibrations must be required. Also minimum one year independent work experience in repairs of X-ray machines
Must be familiar with all aspects of electronic components & circuit boards i.e. testing,
trouble shooting & repairs independently related to medical equipment.
Minimum three years experience on maintenance, trouble shooting & overhauling Electro mechanical equipment related to Medical & Laboratory use.

This will be mechanical work that will involve fault diagnosis and repair as well as planned maintenance.
